Jim Cooke
Jim brings a solid senior management perspective to the change management and business transformation process. He has the ability to assess situations, make recommendations on strategic direction and work with management to take action on moving the business forward. He has worked with management teams to access capital during start-up and periods of high growth, advising on strategic planning, business modeling and cash flow management, and has led the implementation of financing, structuring, acquisition and divestiture activities. Jim's corporate executive experience includes serving as CFO of a publicly listed biotech company in hyper-growth mode, raising capital and spinning off a non-core division; as Corporate Vice President of a multinational involved in an LBO and subsequent IPO, public debt offering, acquisitions and divestitures. Previously, he was a Senior Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Jim has worked with companies ranging from start-up to large multi-nationals across a variety of industries; he understands the business issues facing companies at all stages in the business life-cycle. Jim is a Chartered Accountant and received his BBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

Rob von der Porten
Rob brings strong operational, financial and international leadership skills to change-management projects as well as to restructuring, acquisitions and divestitures. He is skilled at assessing organizations and leading or working with existing management to identify and implement action plans. Rob has implemented strategic planning and corporate change programs based on new business models, focusing on business drivers and metrics. He has led financial teams in restructuring and marketed a number of companies to strategic and financial buyers, and has managed a number of acquisition and divestiture initiatives. He has fulfilled advisory and lead roles across many industries in Canada, the United States and Europe; including start-ups, to entrepreneurial family owed, to multinational and publicly traded companies. As a corporate executive, Rob was North American President of an international automotive service chain, serving previously as CFO, participating in an LBO and leading a subsequent successful IPO. Through many years of international experience, Rob is well attuned to cultural differences and the challenges these entail. He received his MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and a BA (Economics) from the University of Western Ontario.

Chris Cook
Chris has over 15 years of experience in the management of private and public companies, as well as finance experience in acquisitions and divestitures, corporate restructuring and the valuation and management of private equity investments.  Beginning his career as an entrepreneur, he has developed and launched businesses from seed level financing to exit, including a TSX listing.  Among his various roles, Chris has held the position of; VP of Operations, CEO of a TSX listed company, and VP of a private equity firm.   His practical operational experience ranges from managing companies in periods of rapid growth to the restructuring of those in distress.  In 2003 Chris graduated with distinction from an alliance MBA programme run by:  New York University Stern School of Business, the London School of Economics and Political Science and HEC School of Management, Paris. Leveraged with market experience in private equity and an MBA, he provides a unique combination of a global business network, analytical business skills and practical transaction experience.
